Kelly has over 14 years of professional experience in the field of education. She earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2005. In 2008, she obtained her master’s in Elementary Education from The University of Mary Washington with a concentration in Diverse Student Populations, as well as a teaching certificate in Gifted and Talented Education. She has served as an elementary teacher from 2005-2016 and for the last two years, Kelly taught preschool at A Child’s World Education Center in Doylestown.
Kelly’s passion for educating today’s youth has sparked the next step in her career as Curriculum Coordinator. Her vision for the center’s curriculum will be one that provides your child with rich learning opportunities to spark their creativity, encouraging them to explore their environment and ask questions while simultaneously inspiring a thirst for knowledge. She is excited to join a special team of talented educators to build a stellar, state of the art preschool program at the NAC.
Kelly’s philosophy on education is embedded in developing 21st century thinkers by providing a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes creative, critical, interactive and independent thinking skills through a unique combination of imaginative play and academic exploration. Her ambition is that the Newtown Discovery Preschool Center will be the beginning of your child’s love for learning and journey to a happy, healthy lifestyle.
