Our teachers are pioneers in leading the way in early childhood education by implementing innovative practices in accordance with PA Learning Standards. Each day they contribute to the success of our program and create an environment that both challenges and nurtures young minds.
Every year, our teachers complete extensive training which prepares them to provide a year full of enriching educational experiences. We firmly believe that our teachers must stay current on the latest research for best instructional practices. Therefore, we provide professional development opportunities to encourage their own path to success and growth in the field.
Amanda Sinkler
CEO & Founder
With over 15 years of professional experience in the field of childcare and a degree in Early Childhood Education from Temple University, Amanda started our brand with great excitement. Amanda’s passion for educating youth has helped her run various successful children’s programs in the fitness industry prior to opening up her first daycare. Amanda is globally recognized in the fitness industry for creating health and wellness programs for children. Starting The Discovery Preschool’s combinesAmanda’s passion for providing a safe place for studentsto learn and grow with encouraging the development of ahealthy lifestyle early in life. Amanda has recently justgraduated the American College of Education with herMasters in Educational Business Administration.
Amanda is originally from and currently lives in Bucks County, PA with her husband Dylan, two sons Tanner & Chase, and two large dogs!
Beth Cabelus
Director of Admissions
Beth is a seasoned professional dedicated to Early Childhood Education with over 38 years of experience in the field. She has a BS in General Education and a Minor in Psychology from Towson State University. Her lifelong commitment to ECE is what brought her to The Discovery Preschools in November 2023 as their Director of Admissions. Drawn to the schools shared dedication to excellence in shaping the educational journey of young learners and connecting families with the nurturing environment of The Discovery PreSchools.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Beth’s personal life is marked by meaningful experiences, including the adoption of her son, Matthew, from Mongolia in 1999. This profound journey not only expanded her family but also enriched her perspective on parenthood and cultural diversity. In 2023, Beth had the extraordinary opportunity to return with her son, creating unforgettable memories and deepening their connection to his heritage.
Beth is originally from New Jersey, but now resides in New Hope PA with her husband Ed and son Matthew.
Holly Costanzo
Director of Newtown Discovery Preschool
With over 18 years of experience in the field of childcare and education, she has seamlessly transitioned from roles as a private nanny, Kids Club Coordinator at the Newtown Athletic Club, and as a classroom teacher to her current position as the Director of Newtown Discovery Preschool. Her commitment to professional growth and excellence led her to earn her Child Development Associate Credential from Ashworth College.
As a lifelong resident of Newtown, PA, her continued connection to her hometown is evident as she resides in her childhood home with her husband and three children.
